Frost School of Music, University of Miami
What do you hope to do after graduation or your more long-term goals?
I plan to continue to play and teach cello with a long-term goal of winning a position in an orchestra.
A favorite, or memorable AYPO experience?
My favorite experiences have been after hours SCE rehearsals where the breaks tend to be longer than planned.
What musician, conductor, or orchestra inspires you and why?
Leonard Bernstein, as a conductor, inspires me as he creates beautifully accurate, clear, and expressive phrasing throughout the orchestra. His recordings with the New York Philharmonic are some of my favorites to listen to because of his brilliant artistry.
Your advice for young musicians?
Practice slowly to learn faster.
